Get your friends together because we are going to have a whole week of zoomin' FUN.  Lets make a granny square skirt, blanket or top ...depending on how keen you are!  One thing is for sure, by the end of the week you will have crocheted more than one granny square.  As part of this week long course you will have learnt how to chain, slip stitch, treble and  how to make a granny square.  You taught how to read the written pattern for a Granny Square, and also how to read a graph pattern for the Granny Square.  You will also be given a digital recording of your group lesson so you have practice in your own time.  At the end of the week you will learn how to join your squares together to make your chosen piece.  You need to bring to the class a 4mm crochet hook and 4 different colours of yarn in colours that you LOVE. Make sure the yarn is in 8 ply or DK size.    Just make sure you have all your materials with you before you start the class.  You will also need a darning needle with a big eye to thread your yarn through.

What if I can't do the entire week of lessons - Can I transfer?

No.  Unfortunately there are not refunds or transfers to a different date - but you can transfer to a different person.

How many classes are provided for the week long workshop?

Created with Sketch.

From 3pm till 4pm from Monday through till Friday for both weeks of the September 2021 school holidays.

What materials do I need to bring?

Created with Sketch.

For this class you need to organise to have 3 different contrasting colours of yarn in contrasting colours.  One of the colours needs to be either black or white.  You will need about 500 metres of the white yarn and 250 metres in each of the contrasting colours.  Oh, and you need to get the yarn in an 8ply size and a 4mm hook.

Do I have to have my camera on while we are zooming?

Created with Sketch.

No.  You don't have to have your camera on - but if you are doing the class with friends you might like to show where you are up to or you can turn your camera on and off to show me your work  if you get stuck.
